Introduction

AI is revolutionizing many domains in business and industry. However, companies often experience a lack of skilled staff to help them make this transition. This new advanced master's program aims to give technically trained professionals the necessary skills to develop innovative applications for AI.  The master is intended for engineers (or master’s holders with a sufficient background in mathematics) who wish to learn the foundations of AI and its applications in business and industry. The program focuses on applications and engineering skills within an interdisciplinary program with a strong academic foundation. The program is aimed at both recent graduates and professionals. It was developed in collaboration with several key industrial partners and is jointly organized by the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, Economics and Business, and Faculty of Science. In addition to this application-oriented program, KU Leuven also offers a more fundamental Master of Artificial Intelligence program.
