Introduction
Achieve success by leading complex projects, cultivating relationships, and managing the ‘triple constraints’ of time, budget, and scope of project.
As one of a select group of schools in the U.S. that is globally accredited by PMI®, the online Master of Science in Project Management curriculum is aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®), which forms the foundations necessary to obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential. You’ll benefit from courses such as Project Scope Management, Project Management Techniques, and Organizational Behavior.
Although an area of emphasis is not required, your career aspirations may benefit from one of the optional emphases.
- Human Capital Administration: Build skills and knowledge on the people side of project management. Courses will cover gender and race issues, developing the organization, recruitment, union and management, and strategic level human resource activity.
- Integrated Supply Chain Management: Focus on coordination and interchange among the disciplines of business, industrial studies, and engineering as they relate to supply chain in domestic and international environments.
- Managing Engineering Projects: Learn to apply a range of engineering management tools related to forecasting, planning, scheduling, and decision making. Explore quality philosophy tools, and apply Six Sigma to design and improvement of products and service along with creating value for the customer in the manufacturing environment.
Earn your degree in as little as two years online or in a hybrid format at our Baraboo Sauk County campus. Depending upon areas of emphasis, the total cost of the program ranges from $20,850 to $25,020*. Be sure to ask your Admission Specialist how you can reduce this cost with transfer credits or credit for professional credentials.
"I was really amazed at how much knowledge I would use from my project management classes. It's incredible how often I'd talk to a colleague at work and see how relevant my coursework is to my daily life, or how information I would read straight from the textbook one night could be applied to my work the next day."
