Introduction
The program is for full-time students and is designed to be completed in three semesters. In order to obtain the M.Stat. (Master of Statistics), admitted M.Stat. students must complete a minimum of 40 credits (SKS), including the master thesis examination.
As a statistician with a master's degree in our program, you can promote your skill, especially, in four concentrations; (1) Social Statistics, (2) Business and Industrial Statistics, (3) Statistics of Biomedics, and (4) Actuarial Statistics. The program will require a thesis project that will involve a real problem-solving. Course duration is 18 months (1.5 years), on a full-time basis.
The master's program is designed to help you develop your data-analytic skills and explores the core areas of applied statistics. It was created in response to the rapid rise in demand for data-analytic skills. Hence, the program is perfect for those who wish to transition to a more quantitatively focused career.
