The challenge posed by social distance makes it possible, curiously, that we are all closer.
Anyone from anywhere, any place in the country or in the world, will have the opportunity to visit the UAlg Virtual Fair and learn about our offers for the 2020/2021 academic year.
What awaits you?
For two weeks, participants will be able to visit an interactive pavilion, where stands from all higher schools and colleges will be available with materials to publicize the training offers for consultation and download. Each stand will also provide a live chat in which participants can ask questions. The virtual fair will also open space for course presentation sessions, transmitted through videoconference. The week from the 15th to the 19th of June will be dedicated to TeSP courses, Bachelor's and Integrated Masters, while the week from the 22nd to the 26th of June will be dedicated to Postgraduate courses and Masters. Come and discover, explore, question, feel, and choose the University of Algarve!
Overview
Provide students with the knowledge and training required for the assessment, management, conservation, and sustainable exploitation of living resources. Provide students with the knowledge and training required for the production of species in different aquaculture production systems. Training of professionals for aquaculture and fisheries. Provide skills that enable lifelong learning in a self-oriented or autonomous manner. Create the competencies during the Masters to enable progress to a higher level of specialization at the Ph.D. level. To train professionals able to communicate their knowledge to the scientific as well as the non-scientific public.

Conditions of access:
Degree in Biology or related field by a Portuguese university.
Holders of a foreign higher education degree equivalent to the 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process.
Holders of a foreign higher education degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the degree of “Licenciado” (bachelor of science).
Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum attesting to the ability of the candidate to carry out the Master of Science in Aquaculture and Fisheries.
The acceptance of a candidate based on criteria 1 to 4 is the responsibility of the Scientific Council (Conselho Científico) of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia) of Algarve University and does not confer to the candidate formal recognition or equivalency to the degree of “Licenciado” or any other academic degree.Criteria for selection of the candidates: Adequacy and final grade of the undergraduate degree; professional, scientific, and academic curriculum; global profile.
Necessary documents: Curriculum vitae (with personal, academic, and professional information); certificates of qualification with the discrimination of the classifications obtained in each unit; proof of payment of the registration fee (50€).
