Introduction
Description and Objectives:
Provide training that considers the multiple implications of organic and analytical chemistry at the frontiers of the fields of health, materials, and analysis.
The courses aim to provide theoretical, methodological, and technical knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry, allowing students to approach the research and development of projects in conditions favourable to the development of imagination, autonomy, and acute senses and convenience.
Terms of Access:
Access to the 1st year master:
Hold a license or a license degree.
Recommended licenses:
- Chemistry degree
- License Physics-Chemistry
Access to the 2nd year master:
Access by the right for students having validated the first year of the training.
Essentially, master’s graduates continue their studies by preparing for a doctorate in France and abroad in the fields of fundamental or applied chemistry.
Students can thus complete a doctoral thesis in the academic or industrial field while benefiting from various funding (regional or ministerial grants, industrial scholarship, etc.). At the end of the doctoral thesis, students find work in the academic (university, CNRS, CEA, or INSERM, for example) and industrial sectors (fine chemicals, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agrochemical, or petrochemical industries) as well as in organizations involved in environmental and energy issues.
Graduates who do not pursue their studies in the thesis find professional opportunities in these same industrial sectors, particularly in development services.
The establishments offering this training are partners and associated with European (ERASMUS with the University of Southampton) and extra-European programs (in particular with Japanese universities in Osaka and Tohoku), which offers opportunities for exchanges ( for teaching and internships that can be carried out in these partner universities).
This presents an essential advantage for the professional integration of young graduates.
