Introduction
The Master in Interculturality and Communication arises directly linked to the growing relevance that intercultural processes have acquired in our societies. The intercultural problem manifests itself through multiple intersections and articulations between global and local cultures. In Latin American societies these cultural processes acquire a high degree of complexity and have their own characteristics. This is exacerbated in the context of the relevance of communication processes that acquire a new dimension from the transformations generated by new technologies and the deepening of power disputes in the framework of the mass media. Consequently, a perspective that critically articulates both problems from a Latin American perspective appears necessary.
