Introduction
One of the purposes of creating the Specialization in Didactics and Curriculum and the Master's Degree in Curriculum was to promote the training of teaching professionals and from other fields in curricular issues, to meet the requirements that arise from the incorporation of accreditation offices in the institutions, the always current challenges of quality, the technical requirements necessary to direct the new disciplinary developments, the conception of the curricular as a permanent process.
These careers were implemented with highly qualified teaching staff and with important professional backgrounds in their respective disciplines, as well as with outstanding performances in the public function linked to the definition of curricular policies, both at the national and provincial levels, which allowed the establishment of an excellent level postgraduate teaching team, taking advantage of the available human capital and accessing the accreditation of both careers by the CONEAU.
The creation of the Master's Degree in Curriculum responded to the interest in continuing with the foundational mandate of providing quality academic proposals capable of providing various levels of resolution to the demands of the community and its own graduates.
This proposal takes into account the demand for deepening training in regard to theoretical, methodological, technological, and professional development for research and the state of knowledge regarding the disciplinary field of Education, particularly the field of the curriculum, both in the problems of design as in those of curricular development, in a country context in which the expansion of the compulsory nature in the educational system has promoted processes of curricular innovation and the incorporation of various technologies into the classroom space.
