Introduction
The Master's Degree in Food Technology aims to reinforce, integrate and expand the knowledge of technicians in the food and nutrition areas, taking into account the food/nutrition/health policy and requirements, throughout the entire food chain at the European and world levels. The cycle of studies in Food Technology is oriented in order to allow the acquisition and deepening of the following professional skills: control of primary production; quality and safety control of food processes and products; control of effluents and food-borne residues, processing and distribution of food products or their raw materials; food analysis; implementation of food security systems; technical and legal consultancy; prevention and control of risks in the food chain; identification of factors that influence the nutritional characteristics of foods; intervention in management areas of food companies; training in the food field.
