Physical Anthropology is a Knowledge Area within Biological Sciences that studies human diversity and its closest relatives, non-human primates. Its main objective is to provide a comprehensive vision of the mechanisms that generate variability in its evolutionary, ecological, ontogenetic and gender aspects, a vision that also allows us to assess the biological consequences of recent environmental change (including that related to value systems and behaviors) on biological processes and patterns of health and disease in human populations. -

The Master's study plan combines themes of Fundamental Physics and Applied Physics, with a research orientation. It seeks to delve into the effect that the reduction in dimensionality produces in the physical properties of solids, with special emphasis on new physical phenomena linked to the nanoscale. In addition, it will provide students with the necessary knowledge about nanophysics and advanced materials, which will allow them to understand and develop solutions and applications in the different fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. -
