Graduates will become experts in explosives and other energetic materials mainly through practice in laboratories and also by gaining theoretical knowledge in lectures. We focus on safety engineering, for which the students will be equipped thoroughly: we will teach them to solve problems independently, carry out risk analyses and prepare the necessary safety documentation for businesses and institutions in accordance with applicable Czech and EU laws. -

Students will excel in systemic approaches to micro- and macro-economic aspects of management, decision-making theory, theories of systems, systems engineering, information and communication systems including geo-information technologies (geographic information systems and remote sensing), and in understanding the links between economic phenomena and economic processes. This study programme emphasises regional policy and crisis management, and prepares students with the newest technological and scientific information and developments. Students will find careers in public administration, within self-governing bodies at all levels, and in other public-sector organisations and NGOs. -
