The Institute of Fine Arts was established in August 2015 as the result of a merge of the Art and Graphic faculty and the Music faculty. The Art and Graphic Faculty dates back to 1937 when teaching courses for training teachers of drawing and technical drawing were organized. The Music faculty was established in 1959. A. Sveshnikov, the Rector of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, took an active part in the development of the Faculty. -
