The Master’s Degree in International Security Studies (MISS) is jointly awarded by the University of Trento and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, in Pisa. Since its establishment in 2016, we have trained dozens of students for highly qualified careers in international organizations, governmental agencies, the diplomatic and institutional milieu, the non-governmental and humanitarian sectors, as analysts, consultants, security practitioners, and professionals, as well as for academic careers.

The Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in European and International Studies (MEIS) at the School of International Studies (SIS) is the fruit of a close collaboration between the Departments of Economics and Management, Sociology and Social Research, Humanities, and the Faculty of Law. The multidisciplinary organization of MEIS enables students to develop a deeper and broader understanding of the transformations taking place in the European and international contexts.

The Master in Sociology and Social Research course is a two-year program that provides advanced training for positions of social researcher in private research institutes in the field of marketing and communication, customer satisfaction, and opinion research, as well as in public research institutions (for instance, institutes and foundations involved in education research or the analysis of labor market and welfare trends).

Specialized education in Economics. The Master's Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Behavioural and Applied Economics (BEA) provides a solid education in Economics with the possibility to develop advanced competencies in Behavioural and Applied Economics. In this way, graduates are fully armed with the necessary background to carry out rigorous economic analysis in questions of interest for policy, business, and decision-making.

Jointly run by the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (France), the University of Trento (Italy), the University of Kassel (Germany), and the University of León (Spain), the European Master in Business Studies (EMBS) is a two-year full-time Master’s degree in Management with a focus on Sales & Marketing.

Our Master in International Management (MIM) provides you with a theoretical background as well as a rich set of analytical tools that will allow you to perform effectively in an international business environment. Specifically, it provides a sound knowledge in international management with a quantitative approach, alongside solid foundations in economics and law.

The Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Innovation Management - MAIN is jointly organized by the University of Trento and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. This two-year Programme has been developed in consultation with market leaders and future employers in research, industry and government.

The Inter-University Master in Energy Engineering is offered jointly by the University of Trento, Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, and the Free University of Bolzano, Faculty of Engineering. 

The Master of Science in Quantitative and Computational Biology is designed to train experts in biotechnology, computational biology, bioinformatics, and biological data and systems biology analysis, who will have the opportunity to learn in a multidisciplinary context, interacting with students with different experiences. Strong emphasis will be given to quantitative and computational aspects, with a focus on tools to analyze, model, and understand biological systems and phenomena.

The Master of Science in Information Engineering (Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria dell'Informazione) is intended to provide graduate students with advanced skills in the field of telecommunications and electronic engineering.

The Master of Science in Computer Science foresees the acquisition of knowledge, methodologies, and specialized computer technologies which will allow the graduate student to plan, design, develop, estimate, and manage complex innovative systems for the production, transmission, and processing of information.

The two-year Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence Systems at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento aims to train new professional figures at the forefront of the conception, design, and development of techniques, technologies, and intelligent systems, favoring the multidisciplinarity of approaches and applications.

The Master of Science program in Environmental Meteorology is a double degree jointly offered by the University of Trento and the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Upon fulfillment of all the requirements, graduates will obtain two distinct degrees, one from each university. The Master's programme lasts officially 2 Academic Years. The official teaching language is English.

The Master's degree program in Cellular and Molecular Biotechnology is aimed at the training of experts in cellular and molecular biotechnology with an in-depth focus on genomic approaches in the fields of cancer biology and neurobiology and with a view to experimental, technological, and computational aspects.
