The Department of Urban Planning and Landscape was founded in 2013. We aim to foster students’ understanding of urban planning and landscape skills. Our faculty members have conducted abundant research on sustainable environmental design, urban and rural planning, and landscape planning and design. We also work closely with government agencies, local institutions, and various NGOs to make our living environment livable and sustainable. In light of the special geographic location of Kinmen, we have also conducted integrative projects of urban and landscape planning in the Kinmen-Xiamen region. Upon graduation, our students will be capable of working in the urban planning and landscape industries as well as conducting research in both domestic and international research institutes. -
