Introduction
Being someone of the image in the world of today imposes a global vision of the project. The acceleration of computer tools has radically changed the production chain of images, which is no longer entrusted to an artistic director, then to a creative and finally to a performer but to one and the same responsible person. In addition, brands or institutions rely on the duration of the message, signs, codes, modes, which are constantly changing.
This evolutionary and rapid aspect of the job requires a young professional an eclectic spirit, a quick intuition, a creativity open to conceptual and formal initiatives . To prepare for this, from the third year, students present their work to juries composed of outside professionals and teachers of the school.
Your artistic director training
The pupil must today be trained at the same time to the particular techniques, to each mode of expression, to the ability to conceive, to travel from one domain to another, to the speed of mind and realization, intellectual mobility, a broad culture and above all the need for constant information.
Engaged in professional life, the capacity to affirm an open creativity, to take conceptual initiatives, to put the intelligence of the project, to adapt to all kinds of cases are essential qualities. At the same time as it works to learn the required knowledge, the Charpentier Academy is particularly attentive to prepare students for this attitude of thought. It alone will enable them to become truly actors at the heart of this change and this world in motion.
Erasmus
Thanks to our many partnerships, all our students can go abroad. The Charpentier Academy is the holder of the 2014-2020 Erasmus Charter, a scholarship is awarded to students wishing to pursue their studies or do an internship in Europe.
As exchange students, payment of tuition fees to the host institution is covered. A way to discover other ways to work or study, learn a foreign language in total immersion and gain a greater openness.

Internships
Internships are fully integrated into the teaching curriculum. They are the subject of an agreement between the school and the company. Their assessment contributes to the recognition of terminal examinations and is subject to precise award procedures; they respond to periods of study and experimentation.
They are compulsory at the end of the 3rd year and supervised by a teacher (coaching, CV, book, internship research).
The main objective of these periods remains the matching of professional and technical practices acquired during the graduate cycle. They aim to facilitate the integration of students into the world of work and often lead to a first job . Thanks to the Erasmus charter, the internship can be an opportunity for immersion abroad.
Your title of Artistic Director
The title of artistic director delivered by the Charpentier Academy is registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications LEVEL I NSF code 320V In addition, the school is recognized by the ADC (Association Design Council)
Your future job, a plurality of opportunities
Visual communication is characterized less by a particular profession, than by a constellation of applications, and indeed, the versatility of skills. Art director, graphic designer, illustrator, art buyer, advertising, web designer and that in fields as diverse as the press, publishing, audiovisual, culture, trade or institution, it is almost a new job, where the most important thing is to have a "vision of things": analyze, understand, create. It is therefore on the ability to navigate from one concept to another, on the exercise of mobility of mind and creation that pedagogy is based.
