Cloud County Community College

Introduction

Welcome to Cloud County Community College, where our mission is to prepare students to lead successful lives and enhance the vitality of our communities. Our guiding values are Success, Excellence, Service, Integrity, Diversity, Accessibility, & Sustainability. We are delighted you’ve found your way to us.

As you explore what we have to offer, you will find that we provide a caring community that supports our students as they pursue their educational goals. Many of our faculty and staff members are former students or long-time employees who have multiple connections to the institution and local community. Although you have many educational choices, Cloud has a proud history of helping individuals improve their lives, whether your goals are to go to work, update your skills to obtain a better job, or transfer to a four-year university! We offer twelve fields of study with stackable credentials totaling more than 335 courses each semester to help you accomplish whatever you desire!

We believe that higher education transforms lives, so we strive to provide accessibility to every resident within our 12-county service area. Cloud’s tuition is a third of what state universities charge. In addition, nearly 70 percent of our students qualify for some form of financial aid. With us, you can stay close and go far!

We also believe student engagement is a critical component of academic success, so we offer dozens of clubs and organizations to appeal to your varied interests and abilities beyond the classroom. Those students looking to get involved in campus life have the opportunity to gain experience, leadership, and organizational skills that are valuable whether you move on to pursue a four-year degree or go straight into the workforce. These competencies are made possible through a welcoming and inclusive environment conducive to a small college. Ultimately, your experience at Cloud promotes growth academically, socially, and personally.
