Introduction

Welcome to IPSA Graduate School of Engineering specialized in Aeronautics and Space!

IPSA, where the aerospace dream comes true

Since its creation in 1961, IPSA has been driven by the constant concern to match the training provided to students with the needs of companies. Thus, our curriculum is composed of majors and specializations which constitute the basics of acquiring and deepening essential and solid knowledge in the field. Our programs are continuously evolving and are updated under the guidance and work of the School's Development Department.

The diplôme d’ingénieur, equivalent to a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering awarded by IPSA certifies graduates’ ability to tackle any problem related to aeronautics and space. IPSA training also allows graduates to work in related advanced fields of aeronautics and space, particularly in land transport, which uses techniques and technologies similar to those used in aeronautics.

Training

The master's program is based on a balance between academic and practical activities: lectures, tutorials, seminars, design consultancy, projects related to industrial environments, and internships. The student is the main actor in their training by choosing a major and different option allowing him to personalize his courses and obtain expertise in a field of his choice. Business conferences and international openness provide additional skills in building student’s critical thinking and ability to make decisions.

Language

The master is mainly taught in English. Some courses are taught in French.

All along with the program, students benefit from intensive French language courses as they must reach B1 level in French at the end of the study years in order to obtain the degree.

A Graduate School of Engineering close to the industry

In over 60 years of existence, IPSA has forged relationships and lasting partnerships with major players in the aerospace sector. These partners, voluntarily meet students and discuss various aspects (scientific, technical, cultural, and economic) of the engineering profession. This proximity to the industry allows IPSA, through its Development Council, to align training with the needs of the industry. Alumni, working in major companies in the sector readily return to their school to share their experiences with the future engineers at IPSA.

Passion is the principal motivation

If there is a school where passion is all, it's IPSA!The associations' projects reveal the passionate side of Ipsaliens due to their complexity. IPSA also organizes various events to enable its students to live their passion such as conferences of aerospace actors in France, flight simulators, presence at various air shows and gatherings.
