The use of branding and digital marketing strategies has a direct impact on profit margins and business growth. During this module, you will learn different forms of digital marketing and how to develop an ethical brand. You will also understand the strategy behind the decision-making process of a successful marketing campaign and compare the impact of digital marketing over traditional methods.
- Data Mining and Data-Driven Marketing
The main objective of this module is to understand the fundamental requirements for data analysis. You will learn how to identify data elements essential for an organisation. At the end of this module, you will be able to make strategic decisions.
- Consumer Intelligence
The aim of this module is to provide you with techniques, strategies and theories which will help you understand the behaviour of contemporary consumers, with a focus on both individuals and groups. You will also comprehend how to use the digital environment to generate intelligence on consumers.
- Web Development and Analytics
During this module, you will acquire the knowledge to design a professional website. You will learn the importance of a website in the digital marketing strategy within a company. In addition, you will explore how to evaluate the effectiveness of website development. Furthermore, this module will teach you the fundamentals of website building and designing and you will learn how to make use of analytics to enhance the user experience by analysing data.
- Data Regulation and CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental, Social, and Governance practices have increasingly become priorities for many organisations as they assess their obligations to their employees, customers, and the world. In this module, you will understand how organisations work towards meeting these CSR and ESG objectives, while one focus area is data rights and data privacy.
- Advanced Research Methods
Companies often rely on research-based information to make decisions. In order to use research material efficiently and to ensure that any decisions made on the basis of research findings are soundly based, it is necessary to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the methods and techniques used to collect and analyse this information. There are many approaches to conducting research which vary in terms of the types of questions they seek to answer and the methods used to provide answers explored in this module.
Study Trip to Frankfurt (Germany)
Frankfurt is not only one of the world’s most important locations for banking, but also one of the most important data hubs. By giving you the opportunity to travel to Germany, you will learn about the development of digital transition in companies and you will have the opportunity to participate in social activities, work on a project, and visit innovative start-ups and well-established organisations working towards digital transformation.
Impact Paid Internship
6 months paid internship in the UK (Tier 5 visa required) OR in any other country.
The internship will give you the opportunity to make a positive impact within an organisation and gain professional experience. At the end of your placement, you will have to write a 2,000-word report.

Impact internship
The paid internship is part of the programme. It can be done in the UK or elsewhere if students wish. We will provide students with Visa support for those who want to do their internship in the UK with the Tier 5 visa. We will also provide individual support to students who have difficulties finding an internship.
With the ‘impact internship’, students will have the opportunity to complete a paid placement within a company.
This will allow you to work full-time in an organization of your choice. The internship will last 6 months for a minimum of 25 hours a week.
This is your chance to gain experience alongside your studies, earn credits for your achievements, and stand out on the job market. At the end of your placement, you will have to write a report.
