Empowering Education

NUS’s faculties and schools offer multiple educational routes to maximize student potential through wide-ranging curricula. Leading professors in their fields teach rigorous academic programs that empower critical thinking across disciplines, as well as inculcate an enterprising spirit.

Engaging Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurial arm of the University, NUS Enterprise plays a pivotal role in advancing entrepreneurship on campus and beyond. It grooms and supports student entrepreneurs by providing strong mentorship and infrastructure support, as well as exposure to its network of partnerships.

Students at NUS can leverage this and enjoy access to international networks and industries, with various channels to connect with leading industry players. Many courses at NUS offer students practical industry projects or internship opportunities, opening up even more exciting career opportunities.

Aspiring change leaders and entrepreneurs will also appreciate the fact that the university has formed collaborations and strategic partnerships with key industry players (as well as government agencies) to establish advanced research laboratories, innovation incubation programs, as well as the entrepreneurial hub known as BLOCK71.

Staying in the Heart of the Action

A student’s experience is determined not only by the quality of academic learning and interactions with faculty but also by the campus environment.

NUS’s three campuses, Kent Ridge, Bukit Timah, and Outram, offer students a conducive learning environment, complete with a range of amenities and services.

Kent Ridge, the sprawling 150-hectare main campus, hosts most of the University’s academic, research, and administrative facilities. It is also a bustling hub of student life, with student residences, sports facilities, and venues for arts and cultural activities.

Enhancing Student Life

NUS is committed to holistic personal growth and development and encourages students to immerse themselves in the vibrant and diverse activities that are constantly occurring across the University.

Students can choose to pursue their personal special interests—whether it is culture, music, research, sports, adventure, or something else—through one of the more than 200 student clubs and organizations in NUS.

The University calendar also includes a number of annual events, like Freshman Orientation, the Student Life Fair, and our most historic and iconic event: Rag and Flag, which comprises a community fundraising effort as well as a carnival replete with a parade of floats and choreographed dances to thank the public for their support.
