  • Format: 100% Online or Hybrid

Our MS in Organizational Leadership and Learning program is intended for individuals seeking to lead learning and talent development in private and public organizations, private education, not-for-profits, NGOs, healthcare, faith-based, and occupational education.

  • Relevant and emerging fields with strong employment growth potential and attractive salaries.
  • Offered in an online hybrid format with one face-to-face weekend in Los Angeles per term.
  • Robust online modules featuring engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
  • Present your work at national and global conferences with faculty support and coaching.
  • Students may receive up to 9 hours of credit toward the pursuit of a doctoral degree with the School of Education.
  • An equitable admission process that considers your ability and commitment to succeed rather than scores on standardized tests.

Program Details

  • New cohorts begin every September and January.
  • Most courses are completed 100% online with synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
  • One Saturday/Sunday weekend of classes each term with the flexibility to participate online or in-person, in addition to synchronous course meetings throughout the term.
  • Initial Welcome Immersion Experience Saturday/Sunday, on-campus in West LA and Malibu at the beginning of the first term is strongly recommended but not required.

Program Benefits

  • The online format is convenient for working professionals and full-time students featuring robust online modules and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning.
  • The weekend Immersion experience is an opportunity to engage in meaningful community-building with peers and program leaders on the West Los Angeles campus at the beginning of the first term. Although it is optional, this in-person component is highly recommended as it adds a personalized/hands-on approach, relational interaction with your cohort, and increased learning quality.
  • Cohort model designed to build upon leadership skills, support, and lifelong relationships with colleagues.
  • As one of Pepperdine's progressive degree programs, students may earn credit towards a doctorate while concurrently completing this master's degree. Up to 9 hours of credit may be applied to a doctoral degree within the School of Education, enabling candidates to reduce costs and save time to complete both degrees.
  • Shared foundational courses provide the option to change your course of study to one of three other MS programs in Learning Design and Technology, Leadership in Pre K-12 Education, or Leadership in Higher Education.
