Our MS in Organizational Leadership and Learning program is intended for individuals seeking to lead learning and talent development in private and public organizations, private education, not-for-profits, NGOs, healthcare, faith-based, and occupational education.

Program Details
- New cohorts begin every September and January.
- Most courses are completed 100% online with synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
- One Saturday/Sunday weekend of classes each term with the flexibility to participate online or in-person, in addition to synchronous course meetings throughout the term.
- Initial Welcome Immersion Experience Saturday/Sunday, on-campus in West LA and Malibu at the beginning of the first term is strongly recommended but not required.

- The online format is convenient for working professionals and full-time students featuring robust online modules and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning.
- The weekend Immersion experience is an opportunity to engage in meaningful community-building with peers and program leaders on the West Los Angeles campus at the beginning of the first term. Although it is optional, this in-person component is highly recommended as it adds a personalized/hands-on approach, relational interaction with your cohort, and increased learning quality.
- Cohort model designed to build upon leadership skills, support, and lifelong relationships with colleagues.
- As one of Pepperdine's progressive degree programs, students may earn credit towards a doctorate while concurrently completing this master's degree. Up to 9 hours of credit may be applied to a doctoral degree within the School of Education, enabling candidates to reduce costs and save time to complete both degrees.
- Shared foundational courses provide the option to change your course of study to one of three other MS programs in Learning Design and Technology, Leadership in Pre K-12 Education, or Leadership in Higher Education.

Program Outcome
GSEP is committed to a learner-centered approach in the programs we offer. Each program has a set of objectives that a student graduating from the program is expected to achieve. The knowledge and skills taught in the program might be introduced in some courses. In other courses, students are asked to apply knowledge by practicing skills and demonstrating their abilities. Within the program, the values and dispositional attributes important for individuals entering the profession are emphasized.
Graduates of the MS in Organizational Leadership and Learning program will be expected to achieve the following objectives:
- Develop and practice clear, persuasive, and data-supported narratives that advance initiatives and present them using advanced transmedia
- Develop and deliver learning experiences by integrating and applying learning theory and tools of technology and assessing the outcomes of those efforts
- Integrate personal, organizational, and societal values into leadership initiatives and advance them throughout organizations
- Integrate, synthesize, and apply management and administration theories that support managing all functions of the learning organization
- Examine, integrate, and apply theories that promote organizational teamwork and collaboration in learning organizations
