Course leader: Elena Sacco
Elena Sacco has worked for years in Milan, Paris, London and Geneva for international branding and communication consultancies (Publicis Group, WPP, Young & Rubicam brands, Landor, Wunderman Thompson) and as Studio Sacco in Milan supporting companies with her team in the creation, positioning and management of their brands to drive business results, often involved as temporary director. She has signed international branding projects for companies such as P&G, Marazzi Group, Azimut Yachts, Jacuzzi, Barilla, Giorgio Armani, Natuzzi, Atkinsons, Wella, Lancome, among others. In recent years Elena has held various positions in major companies, guiding them in the growth and development of their brands, such as: Brand and Marketing Director of BELLAVITA - the first WELLNESS VILLAGE in ITALY - ; Communication Director of BOSCOLO HOTELS - Marriott membership; Brand and Marketing Director of Milanosport - COMUNE DI MILANO; Director of the School of Communication (bachelor, master, short) of the IED obtaining for 3 years under her direction the title of BEST ITALIAN CREATIVE SCHOOL; Global ALUMNI Director of the European Institute of Design. Since 2023 Elena has joined the RAFFLES International Institute of Design as Director of Strategy, Business and Relations and is currently also President of the FONDAZIONE DUDE; juror in various competitions and awards such as UNA, ITALIA CHE COMUNICA, UNICOM, RE.Start and board member for Dude Agency, Opificio137 and GOLF CLUB VILLA CAROLINA. Elena has taught at Politecnico di Milano, ISTUD and IED. Elena is the author of BRAND REVOLUTION and THE INSIGHT - Edizioni Lupetti.
Course Location and Experience
One of the focal points of this course is to create a professional that is able to communicate with all kinds of targets, in every corner of the world, cross disciplines and cross markets. Classes will be held mainly in Milan on the Raffles campus but also within companies and consulting firms.
In addiction we created the branding focus Asia module, where students will have the opportunity to live a full time experience in our Singapore campus, being in contact with the Asian market and learn how to work with the local brands and branding agencies. Hosted by an international Branding Agency the students will work together with professionals at an immersive project work with a local client and will attend classes by asian firms.

Adopt business development strategies and methodologies from the major leading consultancy firms, both as an entrepreneur and as a consultant;
Develop and drive the brand expression across identity, communication and activations; operate in the branding market with a strategic innovative vision, to innovate branding models according to design methodologies all over the world.
Classes will take place in Milano, where branding professionals from all over the world will join the students to work together; during the year the class will have the possibility to expand branding knowledge meetings in the Singapore campus Asian consultancy firms.
