Introduction
The fourth industrial revolution brings many challenges to companies in most sectors and allows new business models that until now were not possible. The Connected Industry 4.0 (CI4.0) is marked by a deep digitization of society and combines intelligent production technologies with high-speed communications that allow real-time access to big data and services.
This official Master is aimed at training students interested in working in companies that are accomplishing the transition to CI4.0 in a multidisciplinary way. This transition requires the combination of industrial engineering (automation, robotics, mechanics) and telecommunications engineering (5G, industrial protocols, cybersecurity) with other disciplines such as industrial organization and Big Data analysis, including the system integration part.
The Master, which is taught entirely in English, is professionally focused on multinational environments. It provides students with the tools to learn the fundamental technologies associated with CI4.0 and it is taught by instructors from five different knowledge areas. In addition, industry experts present and analyse the most innovative applications. Internships are offered in the main companies in the sector, as well as scholarships for tuition.
It is a Master's degree with official recognition, in a public university of maximum prestige and at public prices.
