Introduction

The graduates of the Master BIM program will be professionals with a global and critical vision of the fragmented construction industry, and with a positive vision of the capacity of technology as a factor of change and integration in all the processes that come together in the event. built. This vision, together with a deep understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the available software tools, and together with skills of human group integration and collaboration techniques, give the graduate the ability to - both within the organization in which perform, as outside of these- become a factor of change and continuous improvement, through the application of the BIM process. These skills will allow graduates to become key players in public and private organizations. Certainly, these will require adjusting their current processes to the reality of the virtual construction that BIM promotes. In turn, this is also seen as a real factor of change in an increasingly complex global economy and demanding efficient and sustainable processes.


Entry requirements

  • Chilean and foreign applicants who enter a Master's Degree at Universidad UNIACC must present their degree or a professional degree, original or legalized before a notary, whose level and content of studies are equivalent to those necessary to obtain a degree. In the case of the foreign applicant, he / she must present his / her academic degree or professional title apostilled or approved by the Chilean Consulate in the country of origin and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chile.
  • Present a clear and legible photocopy of both sides of the identity card.
  • Comply with the other requirements established by the University for the entrance, for the program in question.


Description of the Modality

The study program comprises a total of 16 modules, in 4 semesters and in a period of 18 months. Intermediate output by completing 8 modules: Diploma in Building Information Modeling Management / BIM Management Diploma. The blended modality combines the use of innovative teaching-learning resources, through a virtual learning space and face-to-face classes at Universidad UNIACC . It allows students, according to their own conditions, to favor their learning and their personal discipline, self-management of time, make studies compatible with work and personal life, obtaining maximum benefit from individual motivation.
