Introduction
The interdisciplinary two–year program of full-time master studies integrates knowledge and methods of two disciplines: international relations within the body of political science and media and communication studies. It’s the first such an offer in Poland.
During the studies, students will gain knowledge of a theory of international relations and media and communication studies and a deep insight into the theory and practice of media-politics-business relations, framed by global developments. The program aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in three fields that the Faculty has been specializing in:
- public diplomacy
- media and/for development
- public relations and corporate communication
Ideal Students
The program is aimed at candidates with a BA in international relations, sociology, philosophy, journalism and communication, and related disciplines, with good knowledge of English (at least at level).
Program Outcome
While working on cases students will learn know-how in crisis communication, media management at the local, national, and global levels and will acquire skills in media analysis, planning campaigns, and networking. Furthermore, they will train verification of news sources and basic skills in public relations. The program will be run by both lecturers from the University of Wroclaw and international experts.
