Introduction

WSB University not only sets the standards of education on the Polish market but has also consolidated its position on foreign markets, becoming a strong institutional partner in the field of education and research. This is confirmed by the high University’s 1st place in the internationalization ranking in Poland. WSB University has been and still is at the forefront of private universities in Poland for many years. The possibility of carrying out part of the studies abroad, foreign internships, programs allowing to obtain two diplomas simultaneously - Polish and foreign ones, participation in many international projects, are just some of many opportunities we offer our students.

Today, WSB University is one of the Polish universities most frequently chosen by foreign candidates. Nearly 2,000 foreign students from 60 countries around the world study at our campuses. WSB University offers bachelor, master's, Ph.D., and postgraduate programs. One can choose from 15 fields of study and over 130 specialties. Our educational offer has been designed to meet the requirements of the modern labor market so that our graduates become competitive in the labor market and have the opportunity to pursue successful careers. As a modern, research-driven university WSB University is involved in various scientific networks and internationally accredited by the Foundation for the Promotion and Accreditation of Economic Sciences EPOQUS; international CEEMAN IQA Accreditation (for 6 years by CEEMAN - International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies); EUR-ACE® Label granted to the University for 5 years by Accreditation Commission of Universities of Technology (KAUT); and has been positively awarded The HR Excellence in Research Award.

Library

The library is equipped with all necessary books and scientific magazines, collections of digital media such as films. audiobooks, library software, and multimedia reading room at student’s disposal.

IT Laboratories

The IT laboratories contain high-tech computers and other specialized devices. Translation laboratory enables the development and training of prospective translators. The trainers of translation and interpreting can simulate real-life situations which often are challenging and generate problems. Thus, the practice becomes a priceless experience. Multiple Internet posts and wi-fi Internet are also at students’ disposal. Class schedules, dates of tests and exams, and other announcements are published online in an information service for students called Wirtualny Dziekanat (Virtual Dean’s Office). Modern technology is also present in language laboratories where teachers use interactive whiteboards, professional software, and online materials during their classes and lectures. Moreover, as one of a few universities, WSB University has virtual laboratories based on cloud solutions which give the possibility to provide education fully remotely.

Amigo Student Club

Amigo Student Club is a place where students can meet up during breaks or have a meal during a long day of classes. Amigo Club offers tasty homemade food with a variety of snacks and drinks.

The Disabled-friendly University Premises

The disabled-friendly premises of WSB University is designed to meet the needs of the disabled. Students with vision and hearing impairment or limb dysfunction are given support with specialized software including Braille notebooks and printers, specialized keyboards, portable devices reading e-books, software converting text files into mp3 files, etc.

Admission Procedure

Your application procedure should look the following way:

Preparation of the necessary documents;
Registration on our official website;
Initial pre-screening of your application and the following Interview. In case of acceptance,
Payment of your tuition and admission fee – unless exempt – based on the official Invoice received from your admission officer.
Receival and signing of your Learning Agreement and Rectors Decision;
Receival of your Letters of Acceptance and further Visa application if needed;
Arrival on campus or in case of Visa refusal application for Tuition fee refund.

WSB University 3rd Place in Poland

In the prestigious Ranking of Universities - Perspektywy 2023, WSB University took the 3rd place in Poland and is again the only non-public university outside of Warsaw to be ranked so high.

In the Ranking of Academic Schools 2023 - among all public and non-public HEIs in Poland authorised to award doctoral degrees - WSB University was ranked 29th (up from 32nd position).

WSB University 1st Place in Internalization in Poland

In the Internationalisation criterion, WSB University was ranked 1st among all public and non-public universities in Poland. This criterion evaluates, among others, strategic partnership projects involving the university, academic teachers from abroad, student exchange, academic staff exchange, multiculturalism of the student community, students studying in foreign languages and foreign students.

WSB University leads in Poland in the following fields of study:

Logistics - No. 2 among public and non-public universities in Poland,

Management - No. 5 among public and non-public higher education institutions in Poland and No. 1 among non-public higher education institutions in the Śląskie Voivodeship.

Transport - No. 1 among non-public higher education institutions in Poland;

The ranking of Academic Schools, led by the University of Warsaw, takes into account indicators grouped into seven criteria: Prestige, Graduates on the labour market, Innovation, Scientific potential, Scientific efficiency, Educational conditions and Internationalisation of studies. This makes it one of the most extensive and transparent educational rankings in the world.
