Our MA in Social Policy programme aims to train social policy practitioners who, based on their theoretical and methodological knowledge, can participate in policymaking in the field of social policy, manage and contribute to the operation of the care system, represent social interests, and theorize, research, and teach social and social policy.

The unique feature of the M.A. in International Cybersecurity Studies course is that it is designed in a full-time blended learning format, so classes will be held and assignments must be completed each week. However, we plan to have only three separate weeks of attendance in Budapest per semester to facilitate the in-person participation of international students. The training will also involve renowned speakers from abroad.

Content development is at the heart of the Animation MA programme at MOME, which teaches students the different roles and processes of animation production as well as and the use of immersive and emerging technologies (AR, VR, MR). The main pillars of the are developing independent perspectives, finding an individual artistic voice and creative method, and mastering a responsible design approach.

The objective of this two-year program (120 credits) is to train specialists in three areas: English Literature and Culture, English Applied Linguistics, Society and Culture of English-Speaking Countries.

The M.A. program in English Studies at KJU aims to provide in-depth knowledge of multi-level global/European/national/local governance, transnational business, and civil language communication services, the design and management of language service programs, the organization and management of related research on language use, cultural and environmental contexts, and the development of quality and innovative service models.

Within the Institute of History, the Department for Interdisciplinary History has been providing education in the field of cultural heritage since 2012, initially as a specialization of the History MA program, and from 2016 in the form of an independent Hungarian master's degree program. Since 2018, the Department has been coordinating a bilingual (English and French) Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree program on cultural heritage (TEMA+ European Territories. Heritage and Development), in association with four partner universities (Charles University, Prague; École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris; University of Catania; Université Laval, Québec) and in cooperation with European Heritage Label (EHL) and various UNESCO organs. The English-language Cultural Heritage Studies MA program is based on the domestic and international experiences of the department. The program includes two specializations: 1) Theory of Cultural Heritage, 2) Museum and Curatorial Studies. The program provides internships for students in several institutions involved in heritage protection and management.

Central European Studies is an interdisciplinary master's program at Eötvös Loránd University, involving five institutes at the Faculty of Humanities.

In the MA programs (MA in International Relations; MA in International Public Service Relations), the syllabus, having been created to provide practical knowledge and to prepare students for careers in diplomacy, is in alignment with the requirements of foreign affairs administration.

Our MA programme enables students to become open-minded professionals who are receptive to global trends and local challenges and can provide sustainable responses through material-oriented solutions. Students can learn to use their art to make an internationally relevant positive impact, whether by creating craft-produced limited-series items or autonomous works of art intended for exhibitions and the art market. Research assignments, design studies, and studio exercises provide opportunities to participate in national and international professional events, exhibitions, and competitions and facilitate career advancement after graduation.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, graduates with an emphasis on developing business and communication skills can find jobs in design companies, cultural institutions, the art market, exhibition spaces, or even the media. Students will be able to create and manage high-quality, fundable projects and businesses in the creative industries. Through case studies and internships, they will learn how to develop design and art projects; how to communicate effectively, and achieve international success.

With the help of personality- and task-oriented lessons our master’s course prepares our students to fit into the labor market. The acquired knowledge and practice will make you able to understand and analyze the economic, legal, and political processes of the international system thereby will make you capable of filling in leading positions in both public and non-profit sectors as well as local governments and international organizations.

During our Master Program, you can become a graphic design artist who is able to respond to actual situations and present creative and artistic solutions, and who is able to create and implement high quality work on every job platform.

The first year of the program serves as an introduction to the core areas of standard economics and provides a firm foundation for further studies. The second year offers advanced and specialized field courses that students choose according to their research interests.

During the course of their graduate studies, students in the Sculpture Program are familiarized with skills relating to plastic art and self-expression, materials used in sculpture, as well as various traditional and modern techniques. This is the only program at HUFA that provides basic courses to all first year students, which facilitate an exploration of the main aspects of sculptural trends, techniques and materials from a creative position. The curriculum is supplemented for students higher up in their studies by thematic assignments, the planning of exhibition concepts and the invitation of Hungarian and international guest lecturers.

This master’s program will introduce students to the theory and practice of family policies and public policies for human development. Students will learn to adopt an interdisciplinary approach to address complex socio-economic problems concerning the lives of families, such as a rapidly aging population and decreasing fertility trends.
