The MA in International Humanitarian Action is a joint degree diploma of two European universities, it is part of the Consortium of European and Global partner universities. It is a unique, multilingual, interdisciplinary and inter-university program, with a one-of-a-kind combination of hands-on practice and theory. We also offer a career-oriented internship in humanitarian organizations and the possibility to study at one of our Global partner universities.

The MA in International Relations: International Security: (a) pays attention to the theoretical developments as well as the dimensions of the contemporary security agenda; (b) offers a research-led and policy-oriented curriculum taught by a committed staff; (c) includes a career-oriented placement that prepares graduates for the labor market, and (d) provides excellent preparation for positions at a broad variety of security-oriented and conflict-management related institutions.

The MA in Religion, Conflict and Globalization offers a combination of anthropology, sociology and political science that is unique in the world. We focus on the place of religion in a globalized world from an interdisciplinary perspective, and we relate the latest research and theories to current developments. We provide internships at embassies, ministry of foreign affairs, national and international NGO's, and our program is taught by leading experts with a world-class reputation at a Top 100 University.

The world has become smaller. Markets operate in Spartan competition and states and societies face the endeavour to cope with on-going globalization. IPE addresses these marvels.

The MA in Politics, Organizations, and Learning Histories at the University of Groningen prepares you to answer these types of questions about the inner workings of organizations. You are taught how to gain historical insight into long-term problems within organizations and how to solve these, after which you become an expert in using the past to solve current issues. The track is unique in its implementation of historical thinking to all kinds of organizations.

In this track you will be introduced to a novel approach, developed and led by colleagues at Groningen, to understand geopolitics as a connectivity effect.
