The Postgraduate Program in Animal Biology (PPGBA) is an academic master's degree from UFVJM, in Diamantina-MG, created in 2015 and designed within the broad area of Biodiversity. Its objective is the training of trained human resources to carry out activities related to integrated studies in the areas of ecology, animal morphology and physiology, biogeography, the taxonomy of recent groups, and applied zoology.

The Graduate Program in Microbial Biology (PPGBM) at the CEUMA University to train qualified, competent, and ethical human resources who can provide services with a standard of excellence in research, teaching, and extension through the integration of the various sub-areas of Microbiology and their interfaces (Immunology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pharmacology, etc.). Currently, the course has an area of concentration (Microbial Biology) and three lines of research: (i) Mechanisms of pathogenicity and pathogen-host interaction; (ii) Molecular and phenotypic characterization of microorganisms; (iii) Bioactive products.
