Applicants will be admitted to the study Masters in HSE Professional program in full-time study at the master's follow-up study. There is no exam in the admission procedure. Graduates of bachelor study programs of similar specialization may be admitted to study.

Within the follow-up master study program Civil Engineering - Environment of Buildings, students are prepared for application in the areas of designing and realization of technical equipment of buildings (sanitary facilities - water supply, sewerage, heating, air conditioning, cooling), design of energy efficient and intelligent buildings, design and assessment of healthy indoor environment and energy auditing.

The two-year master's degree in Architecture and Construction is a continuation of the four-year bachelor's degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering in the same field of study. The emphasis in the master's study is on architectural design and building disciplines, which are an integral part of every construction work.

Masters in Control of Machines and Processes as a graduate of the master's study program Machine and Process Control, you will gain the knowledge necessary for the design of technological process control and production lines. Knowledge of automatic control, applied mechanics, electronics, microprocessor technology, and signal processing will allow you to optimize the design of control algorithms for the technological process.

Master in Mechatronics is the up-to-date connection of fine mechanics, electronics and intelligent computer control systems. Each modern product can be practically called a mechatronic system. You can find a job in mechanical or electrical engineering, robotics, biomedicine, and other related branches.

The master's in Energy Engineering study program is a continuation of the bachelor study program “Energetics and Environments”. Nevertheless, graduates of other technical programs and fields, both from VŠB-TUO and other universities, also apply for this program.

The Applied geology in the master’s study is a technically oriented geological field of study that to a necessary extent ensures all the geological research and survey activities. The study is focused mainly on the education of experts in the areas of hydrogeology, engineering geology, technical mineralogy and petrography, environmental geochemistry, deposit geology and applied geophysics.

The study program Masters in Advanced Engineering Materials, taught in English, is a follow-up to the bachelor study program in Materials Engineering. The study program is intended primarily for foreign students – self-payers. The study program focuses on a wide range of advanced engineering materials, their structure and properties, in particular the relationship between material properties and their structure, the possibilities of further material processing and various methods of material properties testing.

Ensuring raw materials in the necessary quantitative and qualitative parameters requires considerable effort on the part of man, especially if mineral raw materials are obtained under increasingly complex conditions.

We encounter Masters in Geoinformatics every day, literally at every turn - whether it's navigation, weather forecasting, maps or gaming. During your studies, we'll teach you how to transform the world around you into a digital environment, fly drones, use state-of-the-art GPS devices, use artificial intelligence, and create 3D models.

The follow-up master's study of Masters in Nanotechnology is intended for graduates of a bachelor's study of Nanotechnology or branches focused primarily on materials science, applied physics and chemistry. Theoretical subjects, dealing with the relationship between the structure and optical, magnetic and other properties of nanomaterials, are supplemented by work in laboratories using modern diagnostic devices.

The Master’s program in Marketing and Business follows the bachelor's degree in the field and deepens its expertise in areas needed for marketing influencing the market and successful implementation of business activities. The philosophy of the program is primarily built on the knowledge of marketing management and marketing applications (international marketing, product management, business marketing, digital marketing) and business skills (purchasing management, business strategies, foreign trade operations).

The aim of the program is to produce graduates who are specialists in English philology - proficient users of English (C2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) with a solid knowledge of English linguistics and a deep knowledge of the literature and culture of English-speaking countries, who are aware of the professional literature in these fields and other information resources.

Within the Mathematics study program, we aim at preparing you for the career of a scientist or an expert in many different spheres such as industry, banking or insurance services. Our basic goal is to provide you with the mathematical knowledge and deepen it. Also, our objective also is to develop your skills of independent logical thinking, abstracting and mathematizing real issues, solving the issues using mathematical methods and computer technology, and finally interpreting the results correctly. Having finished your studies, you will be ready to work independently as well as in a team and you will be capable of extending and completing your knowledge and skills.

Chamber Music is a new follow-up Master’s study program, offered by the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music from the academic year 2021/22. The program is suitable for Bachelor’s-level music graduates who wish to specialize in chamber music. While the students of Chamber Music continue to develop their skills as solo performers, the majority of practical music tuition is focused on playing in a chamber ensemble.
