Marine knowledge Since 1980, the graduate program in Marine Ecology has trained scientists who have excelled as researchers and professors in higher education institutions, as well as government employees and private sector entrepreneurs. The objective of the program is to train highly trained individuals to carry out theoretical and applied studies, contribute to the solution of environmental problems, and play a leading role in the advancement of scientific knowledge on various ecosystems. To face this growing problem, it is necessary to quantify the impact that the environment has on health, carrying out more quality research that also allows us to face the challenges of globalization, and to be able to have the necessary evidence to contribute to prevention and decision-making.
