The double degree program "Field Archaeology in Greece: interdisciplinarity and cutting-edge technologies", offered in collaboration with the University of Thessaly, focuses on combining cultural heritage studies with science and technology during training for meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration.

As part of the interdisciplinary two-year master’s course, students can design their own curriculum based on their own research project, in keeping with “Liberal Education”. The master’s course offers an individual and goal-oriented course that can significantly shorten the desired doctorate afterwards.

The MLA in Liberal Studies offers two “build-your-own” tracks. In the Focused Studies track, students explore a particular subject from within the larger perspective of the liberal arts, earning 18 of the 33 required hours in a specific discipline. As part of their core requirements, students may take courses in pedagogy and education, theory, or research methods, which would enable them to teach at the community college level (with the 18hrs), continue on for the Ph.D., or work in areas related to their chosen field of study.

The MA in interdisciplinary studies offered by the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences is an innovative program that allows students to combine the study of two or more disciplines.

The Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree is a flexible graduate program that allows you to design academic study around topics of interest to suit your career goals. Through this program, you can combine courses from across the UT Dallas campus or delve into one or more concentration areas.

The Interdisciplinary Master of Science program (IMS) requires students to work with faculty to design a graduate curriculum tailored to their unique academic, creative and professional objectives. The program is available to both engineering and science graduate students.
