The goal of this program is to extend the knowledge of BSc level students, and to learn about different meteorological phenomena, their driving forces, and to gain knowledge on the state-of-the-art methodology that is used in the practice and also about climate change and its environmental consequences. Students have to learn about the multidisciplinary nature of meteorology and the possible connections with different other scientific fields and sectors.

MSc Applied Meteorology and Climatology allows you to develop the knowledge of processes which are key to understanding our interaction with the natural environment. This course trains you to understand, model, and predict atmospheric processes, and manage atmospheric data for various sectors.

The Master of Science programme in Environmental Meteorology and Climate Physics is a double degree jointly offered by the University of Trento and the University of Innsbruck, Austria. Upon fulfilment of all the requirements, graduates will obtain two distinct degrees, one from each university. The programme courses cover a variety of topics related to atmospheric and climate processes and their connections with environmental systems.
