The Molecular Systems Biology track offers you extensive training in modern molecular biology and education focused on systems biology (omics, gene/protein structure-function relationships) with a special focus on molecular interaction networks.

In the Master’s programme in Molecular Biology you acquire an extensive toolbox for investigating all kinds of biological problems with advanced molecular methods. Molecular Biotechnology is a graduate (second-cycle) program of studies that leads to a Magister degree (Polish equivalent of a Master's degree). The study program is made up of compulsory courses and elective courses. Compulsory courses allow broadening your theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas: molecular biotechnology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, cell biology, medical biotechnology, plant biotechnology, bioinformatics, the application of biotechnology in environmental protection, and protection of industrial property and copyright.

The official Master's Degree in Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design provides students with in-depth theoretical knowledge of the field and new techniques in product synthesis, catalyst development, management of environment-friendly chemical processes, and computational design. Students can choose between the Profile Biotechnology for Global Health and the Profile Agro- and Plant Biotechnology.

ABMB Master Program is currently conducted in the Faculty of Biology, the University of Bucharest only for foreign students and it is coordinated by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (DBBM). This program was accredited by ARACIS in 2013.
