Music and Acoustic Engineering is a two-year Master Program that falls within the area of Information Engineering (the "reference disciplinary area", as identified by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, is LM-32, corresponding to Computer Science and Engineering). The Master in Sound and Image – Specialization New Media Art promotes creative innovation across various artistic practices.

Explore sound and music at an advanced level, and focus on the areas that interest you most. This course develops your core skills, such as working with instruments and sonic objects, notational strategies, soundscape recording, sound design, spatial audio, sound design, and interactive audio (e.g. for live performance, gaming, VR, immersive environments, and installations).

In the Master in Audiovisual Creation and Direction you will be responsible for thinking and executing each of the frames of a piece, learning to create and direct audiovisual works in any format and from the hands of some of the most relevant figures of the current creative scene .

The MFA in Sound Design is designed to provide the highest level of training in sound design for film, television, games, and other visual media. Students will gain a complete overview of the audio post-production process, recording and editing dialog, sound effects, and ambiance to create a sonic landscape that supports and informs the narrative, from initial recording to final mix. MFA students will complete a thesis project and portfolio in their final year and graduate with a working knowledge of professional workflows to prepare them for success in the soundtrack industry.
