The Master of Science program in Telecommunications Engineering features an advanced and innovative curriculum with multidisciplinary courses in the areas of Internet services and applications, communication systems, multimedia signal processing, optical and radio technologies, and remote sensing.

The joint master's in ICT Innovation programme combines technical competencies in the comprehensive field of Information and Communication Technology with strong skills in innovation and entrepreneurship. Students create an individual curriculum based on their interest in different areas of ICT and study at two European universities. Graduates receive a double degree and excellent qualifications for managerial posts in global markets.

Courses prepare professional specialists in telecommunication systems and networks, especially cellular and trunked radio-communication, land, marine and airmobile radio-communication, personal radio-communication, wireless data transmission systems, digital radio and TV broadcast, design and implementation of services of commercial and dedicated radio-communication networks, satellite and land-based radio-navigation systems.

The MSc ASNAT aims at training scientists in Research and Development in the field of satellite-based positioning and telecommunications for the aviation industry and any other business sectors where mobile localization applications and services are key development assets (cars and trucks, maritime, agriculture, mobile telephony applications, etc.).

The Master's Degree in Communication Engineering and Electronic Technologies, delivered in English, provides graduates with the opportunity to enter the engineering profession in the fields of design, production, operation and maintenance of modern telecommunication, navigation, and remote sensing systems as well as applications and services based on these systems.

New services offered through the internet, mobility via wireless technology, and extreme capacity created by fiber optics, as well as the evolution of policy and regulation, are shaping the telecommunication network of the future. The MS in Communication Networks focuses on developing an advanced level of skill and knowledge needed by future leaders in the industry. This program is designed for individuals who seek advancement into managerial roles in the dynamic telecommunications environment.

The MSc in Electronics Communications Engineering aims to form a graduate with advanced knowledge of current telecommunications and electronic systems and with the latest skills for their design, development, and maintenance. The program provides studies in key technical areas such as digital communication techniques, information theory, electronic design, and high-frequency techniques. Besides a solid math science/engineering education, the student can improve their skills by tailoring the course to his requirements by choosing among a number of option modules in application fields such as security, safety, energy, and environment.

This official Master is aimed at training students interested in working in companies that are accomplishing the transition to CI4.0 in a multidisciplinary way. This transition requires the combination of industrial engineering (automation, robotics, mechanics) and telecommunications engineering (5G, industrial protocols, cybersecurity) with other disciplines such as industrial organization and Big Data analysis, including the system integration part.

The School's training experience is reflected in a degree adapted to the EHEA (Bologna plan): the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Graduates of this Master's Degree are able to obtain the professional qualifications of Telecommunications Engineering, a regulated profession in Spain.

The development of information and communication technologies and the constant appearance of new telecommunications services and applications in the information society lead to a promising future for the telecommunications sector, in which highly qualified professionals will participate. 5G networks or the internet of things were born to respond to new needs of society, in which proper development and use of technologies, applications, services and content will contribute to the success of an economic growth model based on in increasing competitiveness and productivity.

The course offers advanced education in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), with special reference to signal processing (voice, video, data, and multimedia), telecommunications systems, networks, and networking applications. The program focuses on providing methodological and advanced design skills to become high-level professionals in all areas of Telecommunications Engineering.

Department of Communication Engineering was founded in 2003, and its graduate programs (Ph.D. and Master programs) were founded in 2000. The department currently consists of 15 faculty members.

After graduation student is capable of designing, developing, implementing, and employing wireless communications networks and systems including radio engineering for 5G, 6G, and IoT applications. A suitable background for studies is a Bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering, electrical engineering, RF engineering or computer engineering. Centre for Wireless Communications (CWC), the organizer of the Master Programme in Wireless Communication Engineering (WCE) at the University of Oulu, also offers job opportunities for master's and doctoral students to participate in 6Genesis Flagship program targeting on future 6G systems.

The distance postgraduate courses of the UTN.BA e-Learning Center allows the distance learning of some of the seminars that make up the Specialization in Telecommunications Engineering of the UTN BA Postgraduate School. They give students the freedom to train at their own pace and completely online, receiving academic credits for the specialization in Telecommunications Engineering from UTN.BA. About the Specialization in Telecommunications Engineering It prepares professionals with a solid background in scientific and technological areas, trained for the analysis, planning, implementation, and operation of activities related to telecommunications. Graduates are enabled to generate, develop and manage projects of innovation and management of technological knowledge with a national vision and transfer them appropriately to the local industry; develop technologies to meet the needs of national telecommunications networks and solve telecommunications problems from a comprehensive ethical perspective, creating sustainable proposals over time.

The aim of the master in ICT is equipping students with the most up-to-date, high-level background knowledge and information technology skills so that they can easily adapt to a professional working environment if they study higher education abroad; or take up management positions, or founded their own IT startups. Students are enrolled both at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (Vietnam France University) and at a French partner university. A six (6) months internship in France will be offered to students in the second year (Master 2). Graduated students will be awarded a double degree from a French university and from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi.
