PFH Private University of Applied Sciences, established in 1995, is a state-recognized university that focuses on training and educating future managers and specialists in key technologies. Employability is at the center of all its endeavors. The university’s philosophy is that personal mastery, academic excellence, and practical knowledge and experience are essential to becoming a responsibly-acting professional. This may only be achieved through individual attention combined with theoretically founded and practice-oriented teaching. With career and coaching services as well as individual mentoring embedded into the university’s structure, all study programs are characterized by their practical and economic relevance, their internationality and a pronounced orientation towards careers.

PFH offers a total of 17 on-campus or distance-learning study programs in business, engineering, psychology, and healthcare technology at both bachelor’s and master’s level. More than 2,200 students study either on campus in Göttingen, Hansecampus Stade or Berlin or at one of the 12 distance-learning centers located in Germany and Austria. Thanks to its efficiently organized, practice and market-oriented study programs, graduates of PFH are in great demand with companies. 99% of young PFH professionals start their jobs immediately after graduation. The university is in close cooperation with academic organizations, research institutes and private businesses at both national and international level, thus providing an ideal platform for the interdisciplinary exchange of know-how and practice-oriented teaching.

PFH Campus Göttingen offers all the benefits of a small, dynamic university within the inspiring environment of one of the most renowned university towns in Germany. PFH Hansecampus Stade

PFH Hansecampus Stade is located in CFK-Valley, a world-leading cluster of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) technology, and comprises 3,000sqm of lecture halls, conference and seminar rooms, and state-of-the-art laboratories. Home to key operations of Airbus and over 100 other European companies in the field of composites, all CFRP process chain stages including R&D, production and recycling take place here. With a 1,000-year-old history and high density of high-tech industries, Stade is a city that hovers between tradition and innovation. As part of the metropolitan region of Hamburg, Stade provides an ideal location for industry and science while offering its inhabitants of about 50,000 the advantages of both a small town and a big city. Short distances combined with an excellent infrastructure provide ideal conditions for living, working and studying. Moreover, the old town center, its street cafés, and bars lend Stade a unique and charming character.

Campus Berlin offers state-of-the-art infrastructure in an excellent location. In line with our policy of providing students with individual mentoring, the campus and the study programs are designed for small cohorts. While benefitting from individual attention on campus, thanks to the university’s various collaborations students also enjoy the services of Berlin’s student union and have access to other facilities, such as the university library of TU Berlin.
