Introduction

C.H. Sandage School of Business

Thank you for your interest in Graceland University's C.H. Sandage School of Business offering majors in Accounting, Agricultural Business, Business Administration, Economics, Social Media Marketing, and Sport Management. You will be taught by caring, dedicated faculty members for whom teaching is more than just a job - it's a passion.

At Graceland University, students learn through experience - through reflection on doing. This form of learning is called experiential learning, and it helps students understand the coursework better, have an advantage over students at other institutions and obtain better jobs. Opportunities include: Principal Voice of the Young Consumer Business Challenge hosted by Principal Financial Group, sales and marketing competition with the Iowa Wolves D-League basketball team, working at conference and national sporting events hosted by the Heart of America Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), tour manufacturing facilities at Vermeer Corporation's headquarters and warehousing facilities at Casey's General Stores Inc., and numerous industry-leading guest speakers. Internships are another important ingredient to expand students' experiential learning and are promoted in the following areas of study during the school year and in the summer: accounting, agricultural business, business administration, entrepreneurship, finance, international business, management, marketing, human resource management, social media marketing, and sport management.

As part of the C.H. Sandage School of Business, the Sandage Center for the Study of Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship enables Graceland University to perpetuate the spirit of free enterprise in students, faculty and community. If you choose to become a member of our award-winning Enactus team, you will get to experience the entrepreneurial spirit first-hand by participating in local and international projects that better communities and the planet. As a C.H. Sandage School of Business student at Graceland, you will also have the opportunity to participate in and lead such organizations as Ag Business Club, Community Development Club, Investment Club and more.
